Linear analysis of two-dimensional semi-rigid frames

It is usual to assume that a displacement caused at any point in structure linearly dependent on the magnitude of loads applied. This paper focuses linear analysis 2-D frames with flexural connected beam-column members considering shear displacements. A computer program was written MATLAB for this purpose. To achieve above purpose, first, element stiffness matrix springs its ends has been obtained by using relevant differential equations, deformations. In methods, it observed loading vector can be means applied between joint points. found presents an axial load member affect values fixed-end forces, and these are subject another paper. For cases, semi-rigid end forces have uniformly distributed load, unsymmetrical trapezoidal triangular load. prove validity program, some problems literature solved differently. There good agreement results.
